The Girl, Work It group are professional women with traditional and non-traditional jobs. They come together on a monthly basis to discuss what it's like being women at the top of their profession or are in roles that were historically dominated by men. The Girl, Work It members share tips and advice on how to advance within their career; have work-life balance; and better understand the role that they play in fostering the next generation of professionals.

In Work It: Case Studies, you will put on your critical thinking hat to help them solve problems that they face at work and with coworkers. They have various work-related dilemmas, scenarios and experience that they want you to discuss and need you help coming up with creative solutions for how to  handle the situations that they face. The workbook includes 20 case studies - one for each member of Girl, Work It.  These case studies are designed to get you thinking about common workplace situations that you may experience throughout the course of school and your career.

These are perfect icebreaker activities or to include in your existing programs to help young people prepare for work and leadership. They can be done individually or discussed as a group.
